Air lockers give you the best of both worlds - an open differential for for normal driving conditions and and the ability to lock the diff when extra traction is needed on slippery surfaces and steep terrain.
With the convenience of a switch mounted beside the gear shift, pneumatic pressure supplied by an on board air compressor engages ARB’s Air Locker, preventing the wheels from turning independently. The Air Locker is deactivated by flicking a switch, returning the differential to normal.you can activate the air locker ensuring drive power is transferred to the drive wheel.
